La Ballerina Italian Restaurant London

Our Delicious Story
La Ballerina Italian Restaurant is nestled in the heart of the iconic Covent Garden, right next to the renowned Royal Opera House. As a premier Italian Restaurant Covent Garden London, La Ballerina offers a perfect dining experience for those exploring this historic area. The Royal Opera House, celebrated for its exceptional traditional opera performances and innovative works by leading composers like Harrison Birtwistle, Mark-Anthony Turnage, and Thomas Adès, serves as a cultural landmark that enhances the charm of Covent Garden.
This Grade 1 listed building, with its grand façade on Bow Street, forms the cornerstone of the world-famous Covent Garden piazza. The current theatre, the third on this historic site, was built after its predecessors succumbed to fires, a common hazard in the pre-electricity era.

What Our Guests Say
Posted on Katrina KatrianTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The service is outstanding, genuinely kind and attentive. Me and my friend didn’t realise the restaurant has just closed and the staff didn’t rush us to leave - instead they offered us complementary limoncello. Would definitely recommend if you are in the area and craving Italian food!Posted on Mike HallTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Restaurant looked authentic from the outside and had a nice atmosphere inside. The service was good but unfortunately the food wasn’t. Pasta was quite bland and tasteless, garlic bread was tiny and the ingredients didn’t seem well cooked, which was disappointing.Posted on Liza PotterTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. Amazing food, staff so friendly and welcoming! A busy day for them but made sure we were well looked after!Posted on Pablito De MerciaTrustindex verifies that the original source of the review is Google. The two waiters Doruk and his companion were not only stunningly handsome and gifted academics but great hosts; friendly, polite, attentive, efficient. I had the special today and it was very tasty indeed and given the location at a reasonable price. The food on other tables looked delicious and guests seemed to enjoy it. The decor is very dated a bit like a 1980's grandma's front room and would benefit from a refit in the winter months. But none-the-less clean and pleasant. Proper white table cloths, but sadly paper napkins. I imagine I will return here, mainly I think, because the customer service was good.
